Tottenham Community Choir is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive amateur choir that meets every Tuesday evening to sing, socialise, and (perhaps most importantly) have fun in the process.
We offer real opportunities to make new friends and sing together and, by encouraging our members to help out in the running of the choir and choosing our repertoire, we aim to create a 'Tottenham choir' sound that truly and accurately reflects the diversity of the local community.
Although we were originally funded by Haringey Council, we are open to anybody, of any age or background*, who wants to sing with a fun, friendly local choir. Most of our singers live in Tottenham, Haringey, or North London, but we also have members from further afield.
New members are welcome to drop in and try us out any Tuesday evening.
You don't have to audition, or to be a 'good' or experienced singer, or to be able to read music - enthusiasm and a willingness to join in are more important.
So... "why not come along and sing along"?
Oooh, all sorts of stuff - it varies week to week. Click here to see some of the songs in our repertoire.
Every Tuesday during termtime from 7.30-9.30 pm - see here for full details.
For the first two weeks, nothing.
After that the subscription fees are £40 per term (12 weeks) for adults, £20 per term for concessions, and £10 per term for students and children. If you won't be coming every week it's £5 per session.
Well, why not just drop in one Tuesday and see what you think?
