Tottenham Community Choir (TCC) is a local choir for people who live in or around the London borough of Haringey. We
meet every Tuesday from 7.30-9.30 at Harris Primary Academy,
Philip Lane, London N15 4AB, and we are open to anybody and everybody that enjoys singing.
If you're not a member, but live fairly near and enjoy singing, why not come drop in one Tuesday and give us a try? The first two weeks are free if you just want to try us out and see what we're like.
Now up - photos from our November 2012 show at Gladesmore School. We're also on YouTube.
Tottenham Community Choir was established in 2009, with the aid of a 'Making The Difference' grant from Haringey Council, to provide an informal and enjoyable outlet for local people in North London to sing and have fun. Now, in 2013, our future looks brighter than ever thanks to our victory in the 2011 NatWest CommunityForce award, a season of fantastic performances in and around the borough, and our increasingly close relationship with Tottenham Hotspur FC.
Tottenham Community Choir (TCC) is open to anyone who can make our Tuesday evening rehearsals.
We value eclecticism and diversity, and our repertoire includes pop, rock, world, soul, and show tunes, as well as classical and modern choral works for ensemble, chorus and solo voices.
New and experienced singers of all ages and voice ranges are warmly welcomed.
We are a local resource and available to perform at local events - especially in aid of a good cause.
We have sung at Bruce Castle, Millfield Arts Centre, Tottenham Hotspur FC, The Bernie Grant Centre, Haringey Independent Cinema, Park View Academy, Gladesmore school, Downhills Primary school, Belmont school, NewLon Housing Trust, Lordship Recreation Ground, The Meadow old peoples' home, The Mall shopping city, the Big Green Bookshop, the Haringey/Green Lanes Food Festival, and a wedding.
